With the accelerated growth of ecommerce over the last two years, Publicis Groupe has strengthened its retail offering by acquiring software as a service (SaaS) platform CitrusAd, optimizing its marketing performance through retailer websites.
The deal will see the Australian-based company, founded in 2017, continue to operate as a separate entity but work within data division Publicis Epsilon as it develops a personal identity-based solution for retailers using Epsilon’s established Core-ID data product.
