Prudential today announced it is appointing StrawberryFrog New York as the financial giant’s new creative agency for an initial contract period running through 2022. StrawberryFrog was appointed following a competitive review.

The initial batch of the review’s eight agencies—including a mix of independent and holding company shops—was narrowed down to three finalists: Johannes Leonardo, Havas and StrawberryFrog New York. 

Prudential’s return to having an agency relationship comes after two years of developing its own advertising in-house, from creative to media buying and planning.
