Omnicom agency PHD U.S. has named Bayer’s former head of media, Joshua Palau, as its chief media and activation officer, a new role at the agency.

Palau will oversee the development of integrated solutions for clients, as well as head up media duties. Prior to joining PHD, Palau was head of media for Bayer North America, where he managed end-to-end marketing and media strategy, activation and optimization for consumer health brands.

He also created a two-year digital transformation for the company that involved building an in-house model, which included optimization and measurement across all media channels.
