Ogilvy's EMEA Chairman Paul O'Donnell to Retire

He leaves the agency network this month after 37 years

WPP creative agency Ogilvy’s EMEA chairman Paul O’Donnell will retire after nearly four decades with the network.

O’Donnell joined Ogilvy in 1985 and has held many roles, including managing director of Singapore and president of Asia-Pacific. He was also instrumental in the creation of OgilvyOne, of which he was appointed evp of international development in 2018, which led to move than 20 mergers and acquisitions being completed.

He then became chief executive of the agency across EMEA in 2014 before becoming chairman in 2021, where he has overseen the consolidation of the agency’s U.K.
