McCann Detroit and MRM Media Tap Stranger Things' Brett Gelman in Their First Spots for Canon

With consumers increasingly needing to boost their home office spaces, Canon is making its first significant marketing push of its printers, scanners and other hybrid workplace solutions with a new campaign starring Stranger Things actor Brett Gelman.

It’s the first work from Canon’s new agencies, McCann Detroit, which came away as Canon Hybrid Workplace Solutions’ creative partner, and MRM Media, which will be the media partner for the same unit within Canon. The two agencies won the account in May following a competitive pitch that Canon chose to run in-house, rather than hire an outside pitch consultant.
