Lamar Advertising Uses Its Billboards to Honor Important Figures for Black History Month

The prominent outdoor ad company highlights nine trailblazers

To kick off Black History Month, Lamar Advertising will honor some of the best and the brightest Black Americans who have contributed to the tapestry of the country’s culture. Lamar, one of the largest global outdoor advertising companies, will use its network of digital billboards throughout the United States to highlight nine Black heroes whose accomplishments made history and changed the world during the month of February.

“For Black History Month, we are proud to once again use our national digital network to honor prominent African Americans and hopefully inspire people to learn about their incredible achievements,” said Sean Reilly, CEO of Lamar, in a statement.
