Havas Media Group North America will manage Klarna’s media business, Adweek has learned.
Klarna, the Swedish buy now, pay later (BNPL) company, has been increasing its marketing activities in the U.S. as the company has gained increasing prominence.
The pandemic fueled the ascent of buy now, pay later companies like Klarna and competitors in the space like Afterpay and Affirm. The company was founded in 2005, but didn’t launch its consumer-facing app in the U.S. until 2019.
