Iris Names Steve Bell as Global CEO With Its Founder Taking a New Role Within Cheil Worldwide

Millner will become chairman of the agency while adopting a second role within parent network

Cheil Worldwide-owned creative agency Iris has promoted Steve Bell to global chief executive while founder Ian Millner moves to the role of chairman as part of its leadership team shakeup.

Bell takes up the new position after three years as deputy to Millner and European and North American CEO. He will now be responsible for the performance and operations of the agency across its 14 offices internationally.

The appointment follows co-founder Claire Humphris’ promotion to CEO of its headquarters in London.

As well as acting as chairman to the agency, Millner will also take up a role within Cheil where he will be responsible for unifying its affiliate agencies such as BMB, Barbarian and McKinney.
