Interpublic Group (IPG) will expect its staff internationally to have proof of vaccination before returning to work, its chief executive Philippe Krakowsky has outlined.
Writing to staff through Linkedin in a memo titled “Moving Forward Together,” Krakowsky told staff that the company was “preparing to implement flexible work arrangements” as it planned for a return to offices, including the U.S. where the delta variant is causing a new surge in the spread of Covid-19.
He added that at a macro level, the company had always said that the safety of staff was its priority in planning a return to work, describing it as “an iterative process” that would involve trial and error along with “continual refinement.”
Krakowsky continued: “That model will include proof of vaccination or regular testing, as well as continued enhanced safety protocols as we return to working together in the coming months.”
