Innocean Expands Its Creative Team With a Series of New Hires

The agency also announced a promotion

Innocean Worldwide Americas has expanded its creative team with a series of new hires while also promoting an associate to creative director.

“Part of putting Innocean on the map is recruiting people from all over the map,” Innocean CCO Eric Springer said in a statement. “Yes, as everyone says, it’s all about the work. But for us in Huntington Beach, [Calif.], it’s all about the people.”

Jeff Bossin, is joining Innocean as vp, group creative director, overseeing integrated national campaigns for Hyundai. Bossin arrives at the agency following nearly a year as freelance creative director and copywriter. Before going freelance, Bossin spent a decade with Deutsch L.A., working with clients including Target, Volkswagen, Sprint, PlayStation, DirecTV, Dr Pepper, General Motors and HTC, most recently serving as svp, group creative director.

Michael Everard also arrives at Innocean as vp, group creative director, and is tasked with co-managing the Hyundai Dealer business. He joins the agency following a period as a freelance creative director and copywriter. Over the course of his career he has worked with automotive brands including Lexus, Honda, Toyota, Mitsubishi Motors, Chevy and Saturn.

Kelly Kliebe returns to Innocean as group creative director on the Genesis account after more than five years as creative director with WPP’s Garage Team Mazda. Before that, he worked as a creative director on Innocean’s Hyundai account and has also served stints with agencies including Saatchi & Saatchi and RPA and brands such as Toyota, Sony, National Geographic and Charles Schwab.

Marius Gedgaudas joins Innocean as a design director from Ignited. Best known for his work on Volkswagen’s “Das Auto” campaign, over the course of his career he has worked with such brands as Taco Bell, Target, PlayStation, Levi’s, DirecTV, Dr Pepper and MTV.

Art director Gabriel Gama and copywriter Guilherme Grossi join Innocean from TBWA/Raad in Dubai. The creative team has worked with brands including Go Sport, Pril and Fundacao Pao Dos Pobres.

Copywriter Alvaro Soto arrives at the agency from McCann Peru and has worked with brands including Coca-Cola, Ducati, LAN Airlines and Sodimac Homecenter.

Finally, Lori Martin was promoted from associate creative director to creative director. She will focus on the Hyundai account with an emphasis on digital initiatives. Before joining Innocean as a copywriter in August 2012, she spent over a year as a senior copywriter with Wunderman and previously spent over four years as a copywriter with Y&R. Over the course of her career, she has worked with brands such as Land Rover, Jaguar, Chase, Mattel and Southwest Airlines.
