Humana Appoints Spark Foundry as US Media Agency of Record

Health insurance provider Humana has appointed Publicis Media agency Spark Foundry as its U.S. media agency of record, following a review.

Spark Foundry will be responsible for all online and offline media buying and planning across local and national campaigns, the agency told Adweek. Spark Foundry will lead the Louisville, Kentucky-based account out of its Chicago office.

The company will not oversee direct-response TV advertising, which was not part of the review.

Humana spent around $143 million on media

The independent Rain the Growth Agency, which previously oversaw the majority of the account, retains responsibilities on direct-response TV advertising, according to sources with knowledge of the account.
