Huge Hires Young & Rubicam Chief Strategy Officer to Head Up Global Planning

Global experience agency Huge today announced the appointment of Dick de Lange as managing director and global head of planning. De Lange served as chief strategy officer of North America at Young & Rubicam before leaving in January.

When his resignation was announced in December, a Y&R spokesperson said de Lange was leaving “to pursue another opportunity” but declined to elaborate.

That opportunity will see de Lange developing, building and executing brand, marketing and communications strategies for Huge’s global clients, the agency said in a statement.

He also will be responsible for “establishing the overarching vision for the discipline at Huge, internally and externally,” according to the statement.
