2022 will not be a year of immediate normalcy for business. It’s unlikely many will return to their operational setup that was in place pre-pandemic, but it is likely to be the year when a shift is made once again to maintain high productivity while reintroducing the office and the commute into workers lives, after nearly two years without either.

The need to protect employees when requiring them to be present in the office is a tightrope to walk when it comes to health and safety during this pandemic, an issue human resources (HR) departments and managers will have for the foreseeable future.
