Havas New York’s new chief creative brought on his first hires to build out his creative team.

Havas’ flagship office hired two veteran executive creative directors and a top producer to round out its leadership teams. Partners Bharat Kumar and Marcelo Ramirez join the agency as executive creative directors from Johannes Leonardo, while independent producer Melissa Tifrere arrives as head of integrated production.

The hires are the first by chief creative officer Dan Lucey, who was brought on in December from Joan, following the departure of former chief creative Harry Bernstein.

The hiring of Ramirez, Kumar and Tifrere reinforces Havas New York’s commitment to creativity and brings diverse perspectives and skill sets to the agency’s creative department, according to a statement from the agency.
