Wunderman Thompson (WT) has named Vanessa Kerkhoff as its new chief executive in Germany, replacing Larissa Pohl who will remain within the WPP network after stepping down.

Kerkhoff has served as the chief executive and managing director of Havas’ operations in Düsseldorf for the last three years, where she led the 200-strong agency in Germany. She will take on the new role from August, reporting to Ewen Sturgeon, chief executive, international, EMEA and APAC for WT.
