GroupM is forming the Media Inclusion Initiative to grow and support a diverse range of Black-owned media companies and creators around the world, the latest foray by the WPP media group’s Responsible Investment Framework designed to making a positive impact around diversity and inclusion.

The program revolves around its “2+% Pledge” as well as the “Diverse Voices Accelerator” positive impact fund. The Pledge will invite GroupM clients to invest at least 2% of their total media budgets toward Black-owned media, beginning immediately with an outlook to the next 12 months.
