It’s not Jason Momoa, Dwayne Johnson, Gal Gadot or John Cena starring in these heart-pumping action flicks—it’s an avocado, a lime and an English cucumber.

If that sounds like the set-up to a joke, it is, sort of.

In a series of movie trailer-style spots, fruits and veggies get title billing, where they’re placed in life-threatening, high-stakes scenarios reminiscent of big-budget thrillers and blockbusters.

Unfortunately, the heroes may not make it out alive.

The videos—in a campaign called “Spoiler Alert!”—tout a brand called Apeel that’s urging consumers to buy produce that’s been protected by its edible, plant-based coating.
