Edelman Digital Hires Ogilvy Vet and Former New York Times Correspondent as Global Lead

Edelman hired Thomas Crampton as global chair of its Edelman Digital practice, which employs more than 700 globally, effective in January.

Crampton will be based out of London and report to Edelman president and CEO Richard Edelman.

“Digital is a central pillar of our communications marketing strategy and has been responsible for half of our growth over the last decade, with global business lines including community management, digital customer service, influencer engagement and performance marketing,” Edelman said in a statement.
