Ed Helms Is the Perfect Messenger to Spark Action on Student Debt Crisis

Ed Helms’ advocacy goes back to his earlier days growing up in Georgia. His father was a beloved attorney with a deep sense of justice and active in progressive politics in the state, including lending support for former President Jimmy Carter and former Atlanta Mayor Andrew Young. Other building blocks for Helms include attending liberal arts school Oberlin College in Ohio and, of course, his time on The Daily Show.
