Designer Outlet Owner McArthurGlen Tasks Wavemaker With $40 Million European Account

The appointment sees the WPP-owned agency handle online and offline activity across eight countries

Designer outlet owner McArthurGlen has named Wavemaker as its media buyer, having appointed it to handle its $40 million account.

The designer outlet shopping center company owns 26 locations across 10 countries, which it claims is home to 3,000 stores including Nike, Tommy Hilfiger, Ralph Lauren and Under Armour, welcoming 90 million visitors each year.

The appointment of the GroupM media agency will cover McArthurGlen markets across Europe—including France, Italy, Germany, Austria, Greece and The Netherlands with online and offline media—while in the U.K.
