Spanish financial institute Banco Santander has consolidated its media buying under one roof, naming Dentsu International its agency of record for the European and U.S. markets.

Following a competitive pitch, Santander will now work with Dentsu X in the U.S. and Poland, and Carat in Spain, Portugal and the U.K., managing all media investments and bringing their data analysis, planning tools and measurement ecosystem to the bank’s media efforts.

The win follows a six-month international agency review by Santander, which sought a single agency partner to manage all its markets.
