AMV BBDO‘s chief executive, Sarah Douglas, will step down from the post she has held for more than two years, the agency announced.

Douglas was promoted from chief client officer to take over leading the Omnicom-owned agency from longtime figurehead Cilla Snowball in November 2018. At the same time, Justin Pahl was promoted to group chairman, then subsequently left to become CEO of VMLY&R London the following April.

During her time as chief executive, the agency lost some significant accounts, most recently not making it through to the final stages of the Asda
