Home gardens and micro farming may have taken off during the pandemic, but are consumers really ready to cultivate their own plant-based comfort food, like vegan burritos and meatless nuggets?

Of course not, because those snacks don’t grow on trees. And that’s the point of a new campaign from Alpha Foods, which has created seed kits that will allow people to sprout onions, corn, garlic, sunflowers, wheat and other ingredients that go into its pizzas, tamales and pot pies.

Why it’s not worth independently growing natural ingredients
