One in seven people working in marketing are considering leaving their company due to its lack of diversity and inclusion, while the gender pay gap sits at around 13% across “all countries.” These were just two findings outlined by the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA) when it released its Diversity and Inclusion Census results at the end of 2021, involving over 10,000 people across 27 different countries.

In other findings, people with disabilities making up just 7% of the industry, although two-thirds of respondents did believe their companies were taking some form of action to address DEI.
