The Mars Agency Adds an On-Premise Director of Strategy

To build on its existing category strengths, The Mars Agency has named Alison Widmer-Dempsey as Director, On-Premise Strategy.

To build on its existing strengths in the adult beverage marketplace, The Mars Agency has named Alison Widmer-Dempsey as Director, On-Premise Strategy, a new position that will leverage her industry expertise to drive greater growth for our clients.

Widmer-Dempsey has been a passionate leader in the on-premise space for more than 15 years. After beginning her career as a sales consultant at an Illinois distributor, she managed national customer accounts for two independent distillers, driving brand sales and category growth with retail partners while also building brand awareness and loyalty among consumers. In her most recent position, Widmer-Dempsey served as Director of Sales for Owen’s Craft Mixers, a fast-growing maker of premium drink mixes.

In her new role, Widmer-Dempsey will assist in developing insights and strategy and driving activation through various on-premise channels and accounts for The Mars Agency’s bev-alc clients. She’ll also work to strengthen the agency’s relationships with various partners across the industry ecosystem — from distributors to customers — as well as to foster new business relationships.
