Jonathan Zweig Joins Riot Games as First-Ever Chief Commercial Officer

Riot commits to global partnerships efforts across all products

LOS ANGELES – November 12, 2021 — Riot Games, the developer and publisher of titles including League of Legends and VALORANT, today announced that Jonathan Zweig has joined the company as its first Chief Commercial Officer. Reporting to Ryan Crosby, President of Worldwide Publishing, he will oversee Riot’s Global Business Development team and build meaningful partnerships through sponsorships, co-marketing, licensing, and distribution across gaming and non-gaming verticals for all of Riot’s products.

Jonathan has worked in business development for more than 20 years. Most recently, he spent the ​​last nine years at Activision Blizzard, where he served as the Vice President and Global Head of Partner Marketing and Management. He oversaw account management across all facets of the company’s commercial activities including esports sponsorships, platform partnerships, and was responsible for creating a new monetization model for Activision Blizzard’s annual global developer event.
