Hybrid Marketing Co Tapped to Drive Expansion for Remedy

Hybrid Marketing Co. is pleased to welcome Remedy Medical Dispensary into its family of cannabis-focused businesses. Remedy, located in Columbia, MD, is Maryland’s largest medical cannabis dispensary, providing relief to Maryland’s Howard County patients. 

Remedy’s roots go back nearly 40 years, made clear by the Est. 1974 on their logo. While some may mistakenly think this refers to pre-legalization black market activities, that’s not the case. Blaize Connelly-Duggan, co-founder of Remedy, is the son of Bob Duggan, a pioneer in the world of holistic and alternative medicine. Duggan founded the first acupuncture school in the United States in 1974, which today is known as the Maryland University of Integrative Health. Connelly-Duggan and Mitch Trellis (also a Remedy co-founder) see their dispensary as a continuation of what the elder Duggan began in 1974.

Trellis and Connelly-Duggan tapped Hybrid to help write their story, and help steer the next chapter as they pursue aggressive growth in Maryland. A second store is only months away from opening, and will be the largest dispensary on the East Coast.

Hybrid has begun their work with a brand refresh to update the look of Remedy’s visual identity and website. A new content strategy is in the works, along with the activation of new marketing channels and optimization of those that have been under-utilized.
