By 2020, it was producing half of the year’s 20 most popular podcasts, per Podtrac, and 36 of its shows have hit No. 1 on Apple Podcasts. The network, originally launched with funding from 20th Century Fox and led by TV industry veterans, was acquired by Amazon in December. As part of Amazon Music, Wondery continues to roll out a wide swath of popular shows like The Vaping Fix and The Apology Line.
