Unfortunate banner-ad placement can happen on any site, but Wikipedia seems to be asking for trouble with its new fund-raising campaign. The massive ads across the top of each Wikipedia entry feature large quotes about donating to the crowdsourced encyclopedia. These motivational quotes take on whole new meanings, though, when they're viewed directly over some topics. They probably should have seen this coming.
