Just what all you Crispin-heads have been waiting for: the Crispin Porter + Bogusky movie. Creatives at the Miami agency, led by Alex Bogusky, are reportedly scripting a Burger King-themed movie—a dramedy (perhaps) that takes place in an apartment above a BK restaurant. They’re aiming for something that’s more Garden State than American Pie, more What’s Eating Gilbert Grape? (or, theoretically, What’s Gilbert Grape Eating?) than Dude, Where’s My Car? (The King mascot will have “no real role in the movie,” so there goes any hope for The King: Portrait of a Serial Killer.)
