It turns out that Minneapolis agency Colle + McVoy, not Wieden + Kennedy, was behind howdiditgoin.com, the much-blogged Web site devoted to silly theories about how Tiger Woods sank that incredible chip on the 16th green in the Masters. C+M’s John Jarvis tells AdFreak that he and a few C+M compatriots created the site in order to get some experience doing viral campaigns. (“We’ve recommended and made suggestions to clients several times to do viral stuff, and no one’s bitten on it,” says Jarvis.)
