TikTok Users Did the #GuacDance for Chipotle’s National Avocado Day Promotion

It was the video-creation app’s highest-performing branded challenge in the U.S.

Green was red-hot on video-creation application TikTok during National Avocado Day Wednesday, as fast casual Mexican restaurant chain Chipotle said its #GuacDance challenge became the app’s highest-performing branded challenge to run in the U.S.

#GuacDance was inspired by Dr. Jean’s viral guac song.

According to Chipotle, TikTok saw 250,000 video submissions that included the #GuacDance hashtag, and there were some 430 million video starts during the promotion’s six-day run.

Chipotle said it served the most guacamole on a single day in its history, scooping out more than 802,000 sides of guac and using about 420,000 pounds of avocados.
