WXIA weekend anchor Valerie Hoff announced this week that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer (video above).
“The reason I wanted to make my diagnosis public is because I found the lump three months after a clear mammogram,” Hoff told former WXIA colleague Stacey Elgin. “I feel like it’s almost my responsibility to share that with other women.” [h/t NewsBlues]
