WWSB sports director Don Brennan is set to appear in an episode of ABC’s “Cougar Town” airing this spring. It didn’t take long for Brennan to get into character, though, since he plays a WWSB sports anchor.
Viewers can get a preview of Brennan’s acting prowess in a new “Cougar Town” webisode (video above), which was taped in January along with the upcoming episode.
“It was a kick playing a sportscaster—-a role that wasn’t too much of a stretch for me,” Brennan said. “Shooting this footage for ‘Cougar Town’ was great fun for me and our crew. We’re very happy that we didn’t end up on the cutting room floor!”
“Cougar Town” is set in a fictional town on Florida’s Suncoast so the producers decided to use Brennan, who has been with the local ABC-affiliate for five years.
