Daniel Seamans has come back to broadcast television and Wilmington, NC, ABC affiliate WWAY.
Seamans anchored “Good Morning Carolina” from 2003 until 2005. He will replace departing anchor Chris Phillips, as evening news anchor.
In between working at WWAY, Seamans was weekend anchor and reporter for WOLO in Columbia, SC. He left broadcast television in 2010 to work in the home mortgage industry.

According to the station, Phillips is moving to Columbia, SC, to “start a new chapter in his life.”
