Tim Pandajis is joining Norfolk, Va. ABC affiliate WVEC as its morning meteorologist.
He announced the news in a farewell to his old station on Facebook. His last day at WRIC is Wednesday, Sept. 7.
“From here I take the next step in my career and hit the road- not heading too far away though!” wrote Pandajis. “Just a couple of hours east to Norfolk where I will be the new Daybreak meteorologist on 13NewsNow (WVEC) and working with an extremely talented, fun group of news and weather professionals!”

Pandajis started at WRIC in Richmond, Va. in May 2012. He worked at WHAG in Hagerstown, Md. before that.
