Emily Miller has been named chief investigative reporter for WTTG, the Fox-owned station in Washington, D.C. Miller begins April 28 and will contribute primarily to the station’s 5, 6 and 10 p.m. newscasts.
“Emily’s tenacity and experience as a print reporter covering a wide range of issues makes her a fierce competitor and an asset for FOX 5. We will count on her to ask the tough questions and are thrilled to welcome her to our news team,” WTTG general manager Patrick Paolini said in a statement.
Miller was most recently the senior editor of The Washington Times’ Opinion Pages. She has previously worked in ABC News’ D.C. bureau as an associate producer for “This Week” and “Good Morning America.”
“FOX 5 is giving me the opportunity to uncover corruption, investigate criminals and challenge the power structure in Washington,” Miller said. “I’m looking forward to working with such a talented team that brings D.C. the facts and insight into the stories that everyone is talking about, or should be talking about.”
