Gil Simmons has been named chief meteorologist for New Haven, Conn. ABC affiliate WTNH.
“We all know and love him…and couldn’t be happier for Gil Simmons who was just named CHIEF METEOROLOGIST at @wtnh8 !!” anchor Ali Reed (pictured) wrote on her facebook page. “Always great when good things happen to good people…and Gil is the BEST!”
Simmons started at WTNH in February 2003.
