Dave Eichorn is leaving Syracuse, N.Y., ABC affiliate WSYR to pursue his Ph.D.
He’s worked at the station for more than 20 years. He first worked at the station from 1990 until 2008 and then returned in 2014 after he got his Masters in Environmental Science.
“His love for his job made many Central New Yorkers feel that he was part of their family and he certainly has been an important part of ours for the past two decades. Dave has the unique ability of making each and every viewer feel special,” said news director Jim Campagna.
