Merry Ewing, gm at Quincy Media’s South Bend, Indiana Fox affiliate has moved to the station group’s Fort Wayne ABC and NBC affiliate WPTA.
“Merry’s leadership as General Manager during her tenure with our station in South Bend has been tremendous,” says regional vp at Quincy Media Tom Allen. “With more than 30 years at both the network and local station level, we are certain her experience will be invaluable leading what is soon to be the largest news operation in the Quincy family.”
Ewing comes from WSJV in South Bend. She had been svp of affiliate sales for the CW Television Network before joining WSJV in 2015. Before that she was gm of WSTR in Cincinnati, Ohio. She’s also worked as sales manager for WVVA in Bluefield, W.V. and as an account executive for WCPO in Cincinnati.
