WSAZ Moves 10 p.m. Newscast to WQCW

wsaz studioWSAZ, Gray Television’s NBC affiliate in Huntington-Charleston, W.Va., is moving its 10p.m. newscast to WQCW, TVNewsCheck reports.

The newscast currently airs on WSAZ’s digital subchannel. Beginning next week, it will air on WQCW, the CW affiliate that is operated by Gray Television. It will be expanded to one hour and anchored by Bill Murray and Brittany Hoke with meteorologist Kelly Ann Cicalese, TVNewsCheck reports.

“Our 10 o’clock news has had great response,” WSAZ general manager Matt Jaquint said in a statement. “Now, everyone will be able to see it. It’s a WSAZ newscast covering the entire region, and it’s available everywhere.”
