Jason Fechner is joining WRTV in Indianapolis.
Fechner comes to the ABC affiliate from WQAD in the Quad Cities area of Illinois and Iowa. He started at WQAD in 2006 as a weekend anchor.
“I’ve ended up staying nine years because I’ve loved the Quad Cities so much,” Jason told WQAD. “My co-workers and people around this community have become dear friends for life.”

His last day at WQAD will be May 8.
