WPXI is adding a new meteorologist to the lineup.
Starting April 23, Danielle Dozier will join the team. She’s coming from WXIN, the Fox affiliate in Indianapolis.
She’s replacing Valerie Smock who announced she was leaving the Pittsburgh affiliate to spend more time with her family.

“We are excited she is joining us,” said news director Suzanne Nadell.
Dozier made previous stops in Abilene, Texas, and Oklahoma City.
