In the Philadelphia market, a reporter and her longtime videographer have decided to retire, at the same time.

Nora Muchanic has been the New Jersey bureau reporter for WPVI for the past 31 years. For 30 of them she’s worked with Andy Doane.

According to NJ.com, on October 31, they will both say goodbye to the television business together. It also happens to be Muchanic’s birthday.

“It’s been an unbelievable 3 decades working for Action News and alongside the most agreeable, mild-mannered guy on Earth,” Mechanic said on her Facebook page.

Muchanic and Doane told the paper “it’s time” to retire, and it’s fitting to do it together.
