WPTZ, the NBC affiliate in Plattsburgh, New York, has said farewell to morning meteorologist Hayley LaPointe and reporter/anchor Bridget Shanahan. The station posted a sendoff photo on its Facebook page, noting that LaPointe is staying in the family–moving to Hearst sister station WMUR in Manchester, NH.
Shanahan is headed cross country to be closer to family, and to join another station that has yet to be named.
Both LaPointe and Shanahan had their last day at WPTZ Thursday.
