WPRI and the Providence Journal have announced the launch of a new multimedia weather partnership.
Beginning today, WPRI’s Live Pinpoint Doppler 12 weather team will be the source of weather information for the newspaper’s online and print editions.
“We provide superior weather coverage to our local news viewers every day,” WPRI general manager Jay Howell said in a statement. “We are thrilled to be working with the terrific team at the Providence Journal to provide Rhode Islanders with an accurate and dependable weather forecast on television, in print and online.”
