WPIX Opens Brooklyn Bureau at Barclays Center

Tribune’s New York CW affiliate WPIX has opened its Brooklyn Bureau, called the PIX11/Hyundai Studio at the Barclays Center.

As part of a multi-year marketing partnership with the NBA Brooklyn Nets and the NHL’s New York Islanders, announced in December, WPIX built a street level in-arena studio that looks onto Flatbush avenue. The studio will serve as the Brooklyn-based hub for broadcasts starting next week.

WPIX president and gm Rich Graziano, Barclays Center/Brooklyn Nets CEO Brett Yormark and Brooklyn Boro president Eric Adams cut the ribbon with a pair of giant scissors.
