Chief meteorologist Mike LaPoint doesn’t work at Omaha NBC affiliate WOWT anymore.
The Omaha World-Herald reports “The station said in a statement that LaPoint ‘is moving on’ and ‘will be pursuing other opportunities.'”
His bio has been removed from the station’s website.

LaPoint started at WOWT in 2013. He had worked in Pittsburgh, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Oklahoma City, Cedar Rapids, Yakima and Topeka before that.
