WNBC Names Natalie Pasquarella 11 PM Co-Anchor

By Mark Joyella

NBC-owned WNBC in New York has announced Natalie Pasquarella, the station’s 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. co-anchor, will add the 11 p.m. newscast to her role, alongside station veteran Chuck Scarborough.

“Natalie is an incredibly hard-working journalist who lives and breathes NBC 4. She has established a wonderful bond with our viewers who are drawn to her professionalism and passion,” said WNBC vice president of news Susan Sullivan. “I am thrilled that Natalie will continue serving our viewers in this new and exciting role.”

Pasquarella joined WNBC last fall as weekend co-anchor and weekday reporter after seven years at WSOC in Charlotte. She replaces Sibila Vargas, who as we reported in July, said she was moving to the Carolinas after her husband took a job in the region.

“This is a great honor and I am humbled to join Chuck Scarborough as co-anchor of the 11 PM newscast,” said Pasquarella. “We have an incredible news team at NBC 4 New York that sets the standard for broadcast news excellence. I am thrilled to take on this new role, and will continue working with the NBC 4 New York team to deliver the stories that matter most to our community.”
