Sal Iacia has been promoted to director of engineering at Scripps-owned Baltimore station WMAR.
Iacia was the assistant chief engineer at the ABC affiliate. He’s worked there since 2013 and takes over for Paul Wilkinson who recently retired from WMAR.
“Sal has proved countless times that he is ready to lead our engineering team,” said Bill Hooper, vp and gm of WMAR. “I feel very confident that Sal will continue to improve our resources and processes to support all departments.”
